Journaling To Relieve Stress.

Many times we are unable to see how much pressure we put on ourselves. We have interactions daily that impact us in different ways. All these interactions and all the stressors remain in our system causing unrest. Many times the simple act of letting off pressure, such as getting these emotions out, can lead to a more healthier sense of wellbeing. There are many ways to let off steam.


Though there are many ways to let off steam, these outlets can seem intimidating for someone who keeps their feelings inside. A person may not be ready to talk to someone about their deepest most heartfelt concerns. A good way to express emotion and get relief in a safe place is to journal. A journal can be shared but he can also remain private.


You might be thinking to yourself, that you’re not a writer or a diary keeper. This is understandable but a journal is different. The journal is a collection of your thoughts and emotions that allow you to let pressure off and gain mental clarity. You can use “speak to text” tools or even video messages to yourself as a journal tool. This tool can also be used later to encourage yourself when you go through similar tough times. 


The journal becomes a collection of challenges and triumphs that encourage you forward. Whatever the format you choose, it is a great way to reduce your stress, gain clarity, and free up some of your mental storage space.
